Thanks for the comment. You can drive by ECR road and there are birds to be seen during wintering months near Muthukadu Lake. Also, you can visit Madras Naturalist Society and they have a pdf file suggesting other places for birding. Like GNP, IIT, Pallikaranai marsh, Madhavaram jheel, etc.
